Live and Unsigned is a national music talent search for unsigned bands and singers to perform live. The difference with Live and Unsigned is the acts taking part are encouraged to do their own thing; be individual, original, perform their own genre and style Live.
In 2007 over 10,000 people entered the competition which makes Live and Unsigned the biggest nationwide music competition outside that ITV show and the biggest talent search to hit the Midlands in years.

The Live and Unsigned competition is all
about discovering and exposing individual un-manufactured music talent, going back to what music should be all about– real talent, passionate style and performance.

From this competition we are looking for recording artists with real potential.

Those that were involved in last years competition include the Under 18's winner Fizz Reynolds who has been working on her new album with four time Ivor Novello award winning producer Mark Hill (Producer for Craig David, Lemar to name a few) overseeing.

Cushh, who have now released their single breaking through into the UK's top 30 National charts and B-Kay and Kazz (UK's best Live and Unsigned vocal group 2007) are currently on tour in the UK supporting Liberty X, Sean Kingston & Lemar and have their single due to be released this year.

Sean Rumsey, also a regional winner in 2007, has recently caught the eye of Dannii Minogue as part of boy band Futureproof in the X Factor final ten.

The competition has two age categories, Under 18's and 18 and over.

Live and Unsigned will prove to be one of the biggest auditions to ever come to the Midlands with over 1,000 entrants wanting to compete already registered.

Enter Live and Unsigned 2008 to be the UK's best female solo artist, best male artist, best vocal group or the UK's best Live and Unsigned band of 2008.

Contestants will be not only be given the chance to expose their talent live but also the possibility of grabbing a recording & Management contract with up to £20,000 investment to release your single with Future Music.
