On Saturday 6th February King Wong auditioned for the Live and Unsigned competition at the Montgomery Theatre in Sheffield.
Will, Laura and Ste performed a shortened acoustic version of their song New Way and the judges liked it enough to put them through to the regional semi-finals.
At the semi-finals King Wong have only one song with which to impress the judges, and so they hope to win them over with a full electric version of their audition song New Way.
The semi-final will take place at the Montgomery Theatre, Surrey Street in Sheffield on Saturday 1st March at 8pm.
Tickets cost £6 and they can be obtained through the band.
