SUPPORTERS of Chesterfield’s Ashgate Hospice are being invited to join its Celebration Lunch fundraiser to mark the charity’s 25th annivesrary.

The hospice, which has been providing specialist care and end-of-life care to people and their families since 1988, is holding its commemorative and celebratory lunch, at the Winding Wheel, Chesterfield, on Friday, March 22.

As well as remembering milestones achieved throughout the last 25 years and sharing memories, our keynote speaker for the afternoon will be Ashgate Hospice’s new Chief Executive Lucy Nickson who will be leading the hospice onwards following the retirement of our current Chief Executive Kathy Hollyer.

Tickets for the event from noon until 3.30pm, cost £25 per person. They can be purchased online by visiting www.ashgatehospice.org or by phoning Emily Evans on (01246) 568801 or by visiting Ashgate Hospice on Ashgate Road, at Old Brampton, Chesterfield. Those interested can also email events@ashgatehospice.nhs.uk for details.

Throughout the year, the hospice will be sharing memories of the past 25 years, telling stories, celebrating milestones and sharing photographs to help illustrate the way it was and where it is now.

If you have any stories or have any photographs you would like to share, please contact Rebecca Littlewood on (01246) 568801 or email rebecca.littlewood@ashgatehospice.nhs.uk.
