An unusual leaving gift?
This little piggy went to Matlock – so he could be a retirement leaving present!
The mini porker, complete with bow, was presented to foreman Dick Smith upon his retirement after 32 years from William Twigg Ltd.
The presentation was made at a farewell dinner at Jackson Tor Hotel, in Matlock.
Together with his wife, Mr Smith received numerous gifts from coworkers who were sorry to see him go after his three decades in the job.
He is pictured here with David Allen, director, his wife and Alan Boden.
Once he had retired, Mr Smith planned to spend more time on holiday.
