NEWLYWEDS Laura and Gary Medlam will never forget their anniversary after tying the knot on the most memorable day of the year – the twelfth of the twelfth of the twelfth.

And they even got hitched at 12 o’clock.

The couple, together for 12 years, had 12 bridesmaids, 12 groomsmen, 12 cakes and a ‘12 days of Christmas’ theme.

Hairdresser Laura, aged 29, said: “The time was right for us.”

The couple, from Clowne, near Chesterfield, were married at St John’s Church followed by a reception at Hotel Van Dyk.
