THE Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra is to team up with special guest Freddy Kempf for a concert at Derby's Assembly Rooms on Monday, February 22, from 7.30pm.
Conductor Vasily Petrenko will lead the orchestra through performances of Weber's Invitation To The Dance, Ravel's jazzy Piano Concerto In G – with the highly-rated Kempf as the soloist, plus a double-bill of Robert Schumann, namely his Manfred Overture and his First Symphony, subtitled Spring.
