AUSTRALIAN superstar Jon Stevens will bring his new band Noiseworks to a Peak District stately home as part of Bakewell Arts Festival.
The grounds of Thornbridge Hall in Ashford in the Water will provide the backdrop for the concert, which is sure to attract rock fans from far and wide.

Jon Stevens is the former lead singer of INXS and recently played Judas in the record-breaking Australian version of Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar. The show lasted for a mammoth 84 nights and was performed to over one million people.

Festival organiser Janette Hockley-Webster said: “It’s an amazing international event for us to be able to mount and we’re getting enquiries from all over the country – from Australians who are missing Jon’s Australian tour and from people who are keen to travel to see him again.

“To be able to enjoy this concert in such a beautiful rural setting is proving to be icing on the cake for concert-goers,” she added.

The show will be held on August 9, with a shuttle bus running from Bakewell.

Doors will open at 6.30pm. Tickets will cost £10.
