Live music continues to thrive in Belper at The Queen’s Head.

Belper Music and Arts is presenting Bob Cheevers, the 2011 Texas Music Awards winner for Singer/songwriter of the year, who will be returning after an absence of three years, on Friday November 16 with doors open at 8pm.

Admission is £5 on the door at the Chesterfield Road-based venue, or you can ring Martin on 07792470049 to make sure of your ticket.

Bob Cheevers’s music is a wonderful mix of folk tunes and Americana. He was the support act on the final Johnny Cash tour and the gig at The Queens’ Head will be an album launch night for Bob’s new double CD Smoke And MirrorS, which features one disc of full band songs and the other disc of acoustic, more reflective songs.
