this charming photograph taken in 1946 or 1947 was sent in to the Mercury office by Matlock resident Barbara Elliott.

Posing proudly for the picture is All Saints School Choir during a music festival at the Pavilion in Matlock Bath.

The girls are wearing their best dresses and ribbons in their hair while smiling boys stand along side in their shirts and blazers with their hair smartly combed.
