Buxton 4-1 Matlock Town
MATLOCK'S defensive shortcomings reappeared in their relegation six-pointer at deadly rivals Buxton on Good Friday....and how.

Bucks striker Mark Reed hit a hat-trick and Neil Stevens added the fourth before Danny Wood notched a consolation with five minutes to play.

The result saw Matlock drop four places to 20th, as Cammell Laird's win over Marine saw them leapfrog both the Gladiators and Whitby Town, who lost at Bradford Park Avenue.

The result makes Monday's game at home (7.45pm) to play-off contenders Hednesford Town a must win.
