Madam,

May I publicly give my thanks to David Champion for the wonderful suggestion, and pledge financially, for the erection of a Union Flag pole to display a National flag in the Wirksworth Memorial Gardens.
There now only requires written consent from Wirksworth Town Council for the suitable small area within the memberial gardens.
