Madam,
I'm writing to you to ask for your readers' help on behalf of a very special little girl.
Myself and some friends are doing a sponsored parachute jump to raise money for Lily Grace, a child who is suffering from Muscular Dystrophy

Lily is confined to a wheelchair, her parents have had to move house to a specially adapted house and the
every day things that we take for granted are an uphill challenge for the entire family.

This year alone they have had to buy a specially adapted car, buy Lily another new wheelchair, buy a specially trained dog which will give
Lily some independence which we all take for granted, pay for daily physiotherapy sessions plus much more.

Eight of us, including Lily's Dad, are doing a skydive and the money raised will go towards building Lily a carport so when Lily leaves the house she won't get wet just getting into the car. It is vital that
Lily is kept in an environment with a constant temperature due to her low immune system.

She won't die from Muscular Dystrophy, she'll die with it. But her low immune system could lead to pneumonia and organ failure. Her life expectancy is unknown as she has such a rare form of MD, its anything from teenager upwards.

Anyone interested in sponsoring me to jump can do so by going to the following web address and say you are sponsoring Phil Gregory: www.easysponsorship.com/sponsor/lgtfundraising/pedro

(formerly of Tideswell)
