Madam,
Please allow me, through your letters page, to thank all the local businesses who generously donated raffle prizes to the Toy Library Christmas raffle.
They are: Café Central, Chatsworth Farm Shop, Chucklebutties, Co-op Travel, Crich Tramway Museum, Easy Tiger, Elliot Carpets, Indigo Furniture, Matlock Farm Park, Peak Rail, Peli Deli, Ritz Cinema, Silvarious and Zhivagos.
We are fully aware of how often local businesses are approached to help with things like raffle prizes, and their willingness to contribute, especially in these difficult economic times, is very much appreciated and not taken for granted.
Their support is vital to local charities and community groups like ours, so many thanks to all those businesses who donated.
The money raised from this year's raffle will go towards new toys for the Toy Library.
