SEVEN people have been arrested after police raided a Sheldon farm, which officers say housed a cannabis factory capable of producing £750,000 of the drug a year.
Police raided the barn at Home Farm in the village on Thursday May 8 at 10.30am and around 1,100 cannabis plants were discovered in an outbuilding.

Four men, one woman and a juvenile male were arrested on Thursday, with another man arrested on Friday morning. All were of Vietnamese origin.

Derbyshire Police said in a statement that following enquiries initiated by a Police Community Support Officer, they found a "sophisticated hydroponic cannabis cultivation factory" in one of the farm's outbuildings.

The suspects will be questioned today.
