Bakewell Rotary Club members enjoyed a change of scenery for one of their weekly meetings, with a trip to Carsington Reservoir.
The meeting was held at Carsington Sailing Club and members got the chance to view two sailing boats which they had helped raise funds for.

The boats - named Andrew Devonshire after the former Duke of Devonshire, and Paul Harris after the founder of the Rotary organisation - will be adapted for disabled use by the Carsington Sailability group.

Anne Moore, a visiting librarian from Nairobi, gave an interesting talk about her job and the problems involved with running a library in Kenya.

Bakewell Rotary Club member Derek Harrison said the sailing club was a very pleasant place to hold the meeting.
