Vegetarians will be flocking to Cromford to celebrate a week dedicated to meat-free fans.
Scarthin Books will be taking part in National Vegetarian Week and Derbyshire Food and Drink Festival from Monday until next Sunday.

The bookshop launched its popular cafe dedicated to vegetarians over ten years ago serving a range of organic produce, home-cooked seasonal food and vegan and gluten-free options.

A food and books quiz will take place during the week and on Wednesday there will be a special Red Thai Curry day.

Jules Goodman, from the cafe, said: "As we are a veggie cafe we thought this week would be a good way to promote it."
