West Derbyshire MP Patrick McLoughlin encouraged constituents to comment on the county council's spending plan for primary schools.
Mr McLoughlin was concerned that none of the £33million of Primary School Capital Programme funding would be spent in our area.

Mr McLoughlin MP said: "Primary schools in my constituency achieve some of the highest scores in Derbyshire from the inspectors, yet it would seem that none of them are going to benefit from this programme."

Residents can email Mr McLoughlin on patrick.mcloughlin.mp@parliament.uk before the consultation deadline on June 16.
