Clowning around in Bakewell

Youngsters learned the skills of the big top as part of a new lunchtime circus skills tuition club at their school.
Children at Bakewell Methodist Junior School were taught a number of fun circus skills to amaze their friends with.

Teacher Lesley Brennan said: "We've only just started but the kids are loving it and are very enthusiastic.

"It's mainly fun but I hope it will also help them develop motor skills, and show them the importance of practicing an awful lot to improve.

"I'm thinking of bringing in a unicycle in a few weeks," she added.
