It was hats off to pupils at a Dales school who excelled in a traditional bonnet competition during a special Easter events day this week.
The Easter Extravaganza Day was organised for children at All Saints' Infants School, with children enjoying special games and food to celebrate the season.

And the easter bonnet competition was hotly contested by pupils who showed off their fantastic creations.

Teacher Angela Roughton said: "It was a really well-attended event and everyone a good time. We raised in excess of £325 for the school.

"That money will now go towards new library equipment and books, and perhaps also some outdoor play equipment for the kids to enjoy."
