A FORMER Matlock musician is gracing the airwaves of New Zealand with tracks from his brand new album.
Dave Willers, whose parents Donald and Pat still live on Hurst Rise, has taken inspiration from travel, dreaming and family for the record, Kiwi Dreaming.

Dave, who uses the stage name Just Dave, said: "The end product isn't a professional recording, but it is easy listening and basically is about dreaming and escaping from the real world into a land of daydreams.

"Track three, called Living the Dream, is about having a day off work to mountain bike through the mountains where I now live and is being played on local radio."

Dad-of-two Dave, 46, is married to Heidi Nixon, formerly of Wirksworth, and they live in Motueka in the Tasman district of New Zealand.

To buy a copy of his album, which costs £10 including postage, email just.dave@windowslive.com.
