Peak District mountain rescuers treated four fallen rock climbers and an injured walker during their busiest weekend since 2005.
A 42-year-old Sheffield climber plunged to the ground at Birchen Edge near Baslow at 6pm on Saturday, injuring his abdomen and pelvis.
Edale Mountain Rescue Team placed a splint around his pelvis before an air ambulance flew him to hospital.
At 4.40pm on Sunday afternoon a 58-year-old man from Milton Keynes suffered head and neck injuries during a fall at Froggatt Edge.
Team members carried him on a stretcher to the clifftop, to be flown to Chesterfield Royal Hospital by air ambulance.
The crew were also called to help injured climbers at Stanage Edge on Saturday and Burbage Edge on Sunday.
And its volunteers injected a 14-year-old girl with painkillers after she fell near the River Alport on Bleaklow moor on Sunday.
A team spokesman said it was "hectic" weekend and volunteers' busiest since June 2005.
