The M1 has been closed in Derbyshire after a crash involving three lorries spilled diesel, metal and milk over the road.
Southbound lanes between junction 28 at Alfreton and junction 29 at Chesterfield were shut on Tuesday afternoon.

Commuters were warned to expect long delays as police have said the road will remain closed until 7pm.

The three lorries all spilt parts of their load, including 400 litres of diesel, a large number of milk cartons and a 20-tonne steel roll.

Police said there were reports of long delays around the area with queues on the A61 forcing drivers onto other routes towards Matlock.
