Wirksworth UFO fuels rise in sightings

UFOs have once again been spotted in the Dales fuelling a report that sightings of strange objects are rising.

The Ministry of Defence has revealed its own X-files for 2007, listing 135 sightings - including a mysterious object in Wirkworth.

Clusters of bright white lights, strange, triangular shaped objects and stationary craft in Wirksworth are just some of a huge surge in sightings reported last year.

And it seems the UK is becoming a more popular destination for aliens as sightings have rocketed from 2006 when just 97 were reported.

The Ministry of Defence released the file as part of plans to open its archives on UFO research.

A spokesman said the incidents were recorded but unless some security threat is suspected the Ministry has not investigated the cause of sightings any further.

Although the objects mentioned in the article have violated our air space, presumably without detection and any form of 'by your leave', that they are considered to have 'no defence significance'. I would say that this unwarrented intrusion into our air space would have enormous defence significance.

I have been sober now for some 12 years and I saw, last night, with my own eyes, a large cow being sucked up into a disc shaped object which was hovering over a field. The cow is still missing.

If the military are performing secret training exercises they are not going to admit it.
Of course they will brush any queries off.
They're probably having a laugh right now reading the stories in the media of aliens and flying saucers.
Some guy in Cardiff claimed last year that aliens stole his car, tent and pet dog.
