Ancient monument vandalised

English Heritage received reports over the weekend that Nine Ladies Stone Circle, in Stanton Moor, was vandalised.

A spokesman for the organisation said: “We are working with Derbyshire Constabulary and the Peak District National Park Authority to investigate this damage.”
