Police are appealing for witnesses after a car had its bonnet and roof damaged by someone jumping on it in Derbyshire.

The Renault Trafic was parked on Annie’s Close, Birchover, near Matlock, when it was targeted overnight on Monday, December 28.

A police spokesman said: “It appears that someone climbed onto the bonnet roof and jumped up and down on them, causing several deep dents to the bodywork.”

The force is appealing for anyone who might have seen the offence to get in touch.

Anyone who can help should call Derbyshire police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
