Officers investigating a fire at a club in Matlock have arrested three youths from the town.

A fire broke out in a smoking shelter at the Hurst Farm Social Club, in Hazel Grove, at around 3pm on Thursday, December 22.

After a joint investigation with Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service, the fire was deemed to be suspicious.

The teenage boys, aged 13, 14 and 16, were arrested on suspicion of arson and released on bail pending further inquiries.
