Chatsworth was chosen duet to its outstanding beauty. It stands on the east bank of the River Derwent, and looks across to the low hills that divide the Derwent and Wye valleys. The house, set in expansive parkland and backed by wooded, rocky hills rising to heather moorland.

This unique combination of Cecily’s textural, monochrome landscapes and Georgia’s colourful, graphic interventions create a fascinating sense of place which has developed through working on such a large body of work together. This merging of styles has created a series of prints which bring to life each location through the eyes of both artists with the intention of evoking fond memories of holidays and home.

To fund this project Georgia and Cecily launched a Kickstarter on September 30, and will run until October 28. The funds raised on Kickstarter will help with the cost of producing the 12 limited edition prints, hiring exhibition space and the calendar production costs.
As well as early-bird discounts on the calendar and prints from the new collection, rewards on the Kickstarter will include a set of exclusive postcards, and an opportunity to commission an original artwork of a chosen landmark. The series will be exhibited on November 1, at a week-long show in Craft Central’s Clerkenwell gallery in London. For more visit: www.kickstarter.com/projects/1150667167/landmark-locations.
