Birchover fundraisers are on the pull

Birchover Carnival Committee has organised a Bank Holiday Tug o’ War night at Barn Farm campsite on Saturday from 6.30pm.

The event will include stalls, games, tombola and a raffle and all proceeds will go towards next year’s carnival.

Food stalls will include traditional oven baked pizzas by Italiano Forni, DJ’s Snack Van and The Shalimar Indian.

Teams of five can take part with entry costing £10 per team and those taking part must register by 7pm on the night.

There will be a prize for the winning team of beer, which has been kindly donated by Thornbridge Brewery, in Bakewell.
