Police, fire and air ambulance services are in attendance at the 13 Bends road between Baslow and Bakewell after an incident.

The Air Ambulance was called to the scene after the incident at about 3pm today, Friday, March 31.

Police confirmed the incident and said it involved one vehicle. The condition of the biker was said to be non-critical.

Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The incident occurred at 3pm. Crews from Buxton and Matlock and the crew for Matlock are still in attendance. THe incident involved one motorbike which veered off the road into a ditch and the rider is being treated by paramedics for minor injuries."

EMAS said: "We received a call at 15.04pm to a collision involving a motorbike between Bakewell and Baslow. The caller reported the patient was lying in a field.

"The incident is ongoing and we have an ambulance crew and the air ambulance at the scene."
