Creative children used flowers and feathers to decorate colourful Easter bonnets.
Youngsters at Treetops paraded around the nursery’s grounds in Chesterfield Road in Matlock during an annual Easter bonnet parade.
Deputy manager Sarah Knowles said: “The sun was shining and everyone had a good time. The children made the bonnets the week before at a workshop and then this week we invited their parents down to see them. Every child got an Easter egg. The parents loved it and they stayed for tea and we had a picnic on the garden.”
Treetops will also be hosting a Royal wedding party on Friday, April 29.
Sarah added: “We’re having a little street party and we’ve invited people from the community to come down. People from the nursing home are coming. It’s always nice to get people involved.”
