A father has been the driving force in helping his daughter chose a career.
Matlock–based Colin Hargreaves, who has been teaching people to drive for nearly 16 years, was proud when his daughter, Becky, decided she wanted to follow in her father’s footsteps.
The 27–year–old passed her driving test first time, under the careful tuition of her dad.
She said: “I have always enjoyed driving and I wanted to work for myself.
“With my dad being a driving instructor I got to see first hand what the job was like.”
When it came to her exams, Becky smashed them – passing her final test first time with top marks.
“Apparently less than ten per cent of people pass first time,” Becky said.
Colin continued: “The vast majority of training instructors would be happy with a grade four - Becky got grade five.”
