A Buxton woman has won a national competition designed to highlight the important role that farmers play in educating young people.

Elspeth Walker, of Under Whitle Farm in Sheen, beat off competition from across the country to win a Bayer/FACE Award in the ‘Innovative Learning’ category, for developing and implementing new learning experiences that have inspired and encouraged young people.
