Grant for employers of young people

A TRAINING provider has been approved to provide a new grant for employers.

Stubbing Court Training, based in Chesterfield, is an approved provider of the new Apprentice Grant for Employers of 16 to 24 year olds.

This grant is a government contribution towards the costs of new apprentices to employers who haven’t previously taken on apprentices, and is part of the national drive to increase the number of young people in apprenticeships.

It is available until March 2013 for eligible employers who recruit an apprentice aged 16 to 24 for the first time.

The company works with the country’s leading riders and trainers, such as Olympians Michael Whitaker, Mark Kyle and Ian Stark to provide first class learning for its apprentices.
