‘Outstanding’ effort by Tansley firm

A Tansley firm has been praised for its outstanding effort during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Transport for London (TfL) has commended mobile signage and eco–lighting provider, Mobile Visual Information Systems (MVIS) Ltd, for its ‘outstanding’ contribution to The London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Until recently known as Colour Mobile VMS, the company, which is based in the Brookfield Industrial Estate, undertook TfL’s contract to supply variable message signage for the event’s Olympic Route Network.

Managing director Tony Price said: “We’re delighted to have been a part of such a massive international event, and TfL’s praise is testament to our capability within this sector.”
