Diners at a Matlock restaurant will be able to enjoy an authentic Indian experience – as staff have been fitted out with new costumes.
Maazi has introduced the stylish, colourful outfits at its Causeway Lane restaurant.
The uniforms , which include embroidered jackets and hats, are based upon the traditional Sherwani Indian wedding costumes.
Owner Irfan Shabir, had the costumes shipped over from Indian and said they have been a big hit with customers.
He added: “The reaction has been fantastic.
“People walk in and go ‘wow’.
“So many people have been trying on the traditional hats and embroidered jackets and having pictures taken.”
