The run of incidents started on Monday, August 22 when the team were called to rescue a woman from Thorpe Cloud, in Dovedale, after she had fallen and injured her hip.

A few days later, the team were called to a motocross rider who had been thrown from his bike at Starkholmes, near Matlock.

The next call was to a 13 year old girl who had slipped off the side of a steep footpath at High Tor, Matlock, and was unable to get back up and finally, the team were called to a climber at Hall Dale Quarry, again near Matlock, who had been hit by fallen rocks whilst abseiling.
