Angie, of King’s Road, Fairfield, organises two nights in February, one for darts, one for dominoes, for up to 500 players at a time and holds games such as stand up bingo and a tombola.
She said: “When the lady who used to run the nights passed away, a couple of people tried their hand at it, but nobody wanted to do it full time. I thought I’d give it a go, as I’m quite an organised person. I’ve just enjoyed doing it, so even when I stopped playing, I said I’d carry on with the charity work. It’s nice to go back and see everyone.”
