Can we have better seats?

Can anyone tell me why people using buses ( and often elderly people) who are waiting at the bus stop opposite the Matlock park have to endure the pain and discomfort of sitting on two steel poles instead of a proper seat ?

There are, within fifty yards of the bus shelter, a dozen or so different seats made of wood or steel – all the seats are shaped to fit a persons posterior – the minimum requirement for a seat .

So why on earth are people using the bus service treated so shabbily – you tie horses up to poles – they are not for people to sit on, but this is exactly what we are supposed to put up with.

Please can the old folk have a proper seat why they wait for their bus ?
