The British Red Cross is calling for all Derbyshire Rambler’s to sign up for a new Peak District walk to help raise vital funds for its work.

The 12 mile walk, which is being held on Sunday September 23, starts and finishes at Edale village hall and is suitable for all abilities.

The route promises those in attendance an assortment of panoramic views and famous Peak District landmarks.

Elliot Davies, who was first to sign up to the challenge, said: “The Peak District Walk appealed to me because it’s a beautiful local walk and a fantastic way to raise money for the Red Cross.”

There is a £10 registration fee to take part and participants are asked to raise £75 in sponsorship. For information call 0115 852 8016.
