The Matlock office of the Citizens’ Advice Bureau (CAB) has launched a new base at Derbyshire Dales District Council’s Town Hall headquarters this week – and it’s a win-win arrangement for both organisations.

The bonus for CAB and its customers is that the new Town Hall base is nearer the town centre, so is more accessible.

The district council plan to sell the Bank Road property and save £8,500 a year running costs.

The new CAB office – which opened on June 11 – is just off the main reception area at the Town Hall, in the former housing section.
