Hundreds of fun-seekers flocked to a jam-packed Froggatt Show at the weekend.
The 66th annual spectacular, held at Stoke Lane Field, Froggatt, on Saturday, featured eye-catching displays of flowers, vegetables and crafts and many other different stalls along with a pony ring and displays of classic cars, tractors and engines.
Children were entertained by a Punch and Judy Show and face--painters.
Stuart Lloyd, chairman of Froggatt and District Horticultural Society, which organises the event, said: “We had well over 1,300 visitors and it was the usual scene of old friends catching up over a cup of tea and a cake. Luckily the weather just got better and better throughout the day.”
There were 164 different competition classes including flowers, vegetables and crafts. Music was provided by Hathersage Brass Band.
