Collision causes long delays on the M1 near Chesterfield
Motorists have been facing big delays today, Thursday, June 5, after the northbound carriageway of the M1 motorway near Chesterfield had to be closed following a serious collision.
The collision happened in the early hours of the day between two lorries on the carriageway between Junctions 29 and 30 and has caused disruption to morning rush-hour traffic.
Two people were hurt during the collision and one is thought to have suffered serious injuries.
