A well-known broadcaster and author will soon be joining Derbyshire Wildlife Trust to reveal the secrets of nature’s kitchen.

Patrick Harding is an expert on the edible and medicinal uses of plants and has appeared on many television and radio programmes including Richard and Judy and Radio 4’s Up Country.

The Nature’s Kitchen workshop takes place at Carsington Water on Sunday 27 May from 10.30am to 3.30pm.

Patrick will offer those in attendance tips on identifying edible British plants will demonstrate recipes for using them – including dandelion salad.

Once inspired, Patrick will lead a foraging mission around Carsington Water to help put the theory into practice.
