Police in Matlock are appealing for the return of a young girl’s games console that was sold on after a burglary at her home.
A Nintendo DS belonging to the girl was stolen from a house on Mettesford in early July.
Officers investigating the burglary have discovered the console was sold on at a car boot sale in Tansley on Sunday, July 17.
Officers are asking the person who bought the console to contact them.
The console is red with a scratch across the screen, it has an R4 card in it and was sold without the charger or pen.
The person who bought the console at the car boot sale will not be prosecuted.
