Buxton man jailed for break in while owner was asleep

A Buxton man has been jailed for breaking into a woman’s house whilst she was asleep.

Bobby Arrowsmith, of Macclesfield Road, was sentenced to five and a half years after breaking into a house on Broad Walk, Buxton, on February 2.

The 23-year-old broke into the elderly lady’s house whilst she was sleeping and stole jewellery and a handbag.

Part of Arrowsmith’s sentence was also given for theft from a motor vehicle on February 11 from Hall Bank, Buxton.
