Motoring

Kevin Kissane, 33, of Gorse Valley Way, Hasland, Chesterfield. Exceeded the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £262 and must pay a £26 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

Simon Nicholas Goodman, 56, of Boythorpe Crescent, Chesterfield. Failed to give information relating to the identification of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Fined £92 and must pay £20 victim surcharge and £250 costs. Driving record endorsed with six points.

Ellis Sian Britland, 19, of Bobbin Way, Belper. Exceeded the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £110 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Robert lawrence Kirkwood, 34, of Castle Hill, Baslow Road, Bakewell. Exceeded the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £815 and must pay an £81 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 19 months.

Charlie jones, 20, of Nethermoor Lane, Killamarsh. Exceeded the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £201 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 36 months.

Tony David Watson, 30, of Devonshire Road North, New Whittington, Chesterfield. Being the driver of a vehicle owing to the presence of which an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to an electricity pylon. Fined £233 and must pay a £23 victim surcharge and £35 costs. Driving record also endorsed with eight points. Failed to report the accident to police. No separate penalty.

Assault

David hamilton, 39, of Kendal Road, Chesterfield. Assault. Community order until December 11, 2015 with supervision, alcohol activity and 60 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £200 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Stephen Robert Owen, 46, of Greenfarm Close, Newbold, Chesterfield. Assault. Fined £110 and must pay £100 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £310 costs.

Kevin holmes, 23, of The Hill, Cromford. Assault. Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 12 months. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Edward James Campbell, 37, of The Mews, Willersley Castle, Cromford. Assault. Community order until June 8, 2016. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Aaron lee Thompson, 18, of Welbeck Street, Whitwell. Damaged a car windscreen to the value of £100. Fined £37 and must pay £100 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Brandon Stuart Scarborough-Jones, 20, of Beighton Street, Ripley. Damaged a mobile phone. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Susan Waller, 53, of Central Drive, Calow, Chesterfield. The owner of a dog which was dangerously out of control. Fined £174 and must pay £200 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £35 costs. Disqualified from keeping a dog for two years.

Tracy Louise miller, 43, of Mary Devonshire Cottages, Pilsley. With a view to obtaining housing and council tax benefit falsely made a statement to Derbyshire Dales District Council that she did not live with a partner when was doing so. With a view to obtaining housing and council tax benefit made a false statement that she did not own or partly own property when she did. Failed to notify the council of a change of circumstances affecting entitlement to housing and council tax benefit in that she commenced employment with a higher income. Failed to notify the council of a change of circumstances affecting entitlement to housing benefit in that she had commenced employment with an increased income. Failed to notify the council of a change of circumstances affecting housing and council tax benefit namely that she was married. Another count of failing to notify the council of circumstances affecting housing benefit in that she was married. Dishonestly made a statement to the council in that she lived alone with her child when she lived with her husband. Failed to notify the council of a change affecting housing and council tax benefit namely that she received money from the sale of a property. Committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 24 months with 100 hours of unpaid work.

Maurice flaherty, 52, of Alfreton Road, South Normanton. Made contact with someone he was prohibited from contacting by a restraining order. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge.

Kyle Fowler, 28, of Heath Road, Ripley. Damaged a vehicle. Community order to last until December 8, 2015, with 150 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £1,050.34 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £300 costs.

David Staniforth, 23, of Allport Terrace, Barrow Hill, Chesterfield. Used threatening behaviour. Fined £37 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Robert Peter Gooderham, 36, of Welbeck Street, Creswell. Committed arson by damaging by fire a wheelie bin. Community order to last until December 8, 2015, with supervision and 100 hours of unpaid work. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £400 costs.

Joshua Walker, 19, of Cauldon Drive, Chesterfield. Drunk and disorderly in public. Fined £36 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Jordan Anderson, 19, of Chapel Street, Brimington, Chesterfield. Contravened a direction under the Anti-Social Behaviour Act requiring him to disperses as part of a group by 11.25 and to leave the locality by 11.25 prohibiting him from returning for 24 hours. Discharged conditionally for six months.

Mark David Smyth, 39, of Edinburgh Road, Chesterfield. Damaged a door valued at £100. Fined £74 and must pay £100 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Theft

Andrew Ernest Rimmer, 51, of Spring Bank Road, Chesterfield. Stole cheese and chocolate. Community order to last until November 5, 2015. Fined £37 and must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Paul Townsend, 38, of Moston Walk, Grangewood, Chesterfield. Stole meat products. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Andrew Graham Wilson, 31, of Oak Crescent, Wingerworth, Chesterfield. Stole copper piping. Fined £73 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Possession of 0.9grammes of amphetamine, a controlled class B drug. No separate penalty.

Mark Hill, 34, currently of HMP Nottingham, Stole DVD products. Six other offences taken into consideration. Stole perfume valued at £95 belonging to Boots. Committed to prison for eight weeks.

Christopher Phillip Auton, 42, of Gloucester Road, Chesterfield. Stole items belonging to Tesco. Fined £74 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Mark Andrew Foster, 35, of York Crescent, Doe Lea, Chesterfield. Stole diesel. Community order until December 9, 2015, with a curfew, drug rehabilitation and supervision. Must pay £25 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Drugs

Michael John Bacon, 53, of Bowler Street, Ripley. Possession of 0.6grammes of diamorphine, a class A drug. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Aiden Stephen Jordan, 20, of The Green, Alfreton. Possession of Methylmethcathinone, a class B drug. Possession of cannabis, a class B drug. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
