Chesterfield magistrates’ court heard on August 13, how Lee Greenall, 38, of Laurel Avenue, Arkwright Town, Chesterfield, twice breached the order by entering an exclusion zone.

The restraining order has been imposed to offer protection and to provide an exclusion area to keep Greenall away.

Prosecuting solicitor Becky Allsop said the woman had already experienced difficulties with Greenall and she spotted the defendant in the exclusion zone on June 26 and on July 6.

Mrs Allsop added the complainant is concerned about her safety. Bob Bashforth, defending, said Greenall had taken shortcuts to get to shops and had difficulties because the zone is near to his grandmother’s.

District Judge Andrew Davison sentenced Greenall to 16 weeks’ custody.
