People who try to avoid paying court fines across Derbyshire are to be targeted in a month-long campaign.
Throughout February, Her Majesty’s Courts Service will blitz a list of fine-dodgers across the county.
Operation Crackdown will see HMCS enforcement officers and local police target offenders’ homes to collect unpaid fines.
Bailiffs will also be issued with warrants so they can confiscate property.
Where necessary, those who refuse to co-operate will be arrested.
