Derbyshire Snake Pass crash casualty fights for his life

Police appeal for witnesses after a collision on the Snake Pass which has left a man with life threatening injuries.

On Saturday, July 12, at 5.10pm, a red Honda CBR 600 motorcycle was in collision with a grey Skoda Yeti in an area known locally as Rowlee Farm, between Snake Summit and the Ladybower Inn.

The rider of the Honda, a 24-year-old man from Leeds was airlifted to Sheffield Northern General Hospital with life threatening injuries, where he remains in a critical condition.

The two female passengers in the Skoda are also being treated for serious injuries.

The road re-opened at 10.54pm.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Derbyshire police quoting incident number 658 of July 12.
