Motoring

James Andrew Abrams, 48, of Rock Lane, Sutton Scarsdale, Chesterfield. Exceeded the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £800 and must pay £165 in a victim surcharge and costs. Disqualified from driving for 23 months.

Donna Michelle bowler, 47, of Maynard Road, Boythorpe, Chesterfield. Exceeded the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £500 and must pay a £50 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 17 months.

Jo Jordan Fields, 25, of St Mary’s Walk, Jacksdale. Took a vehicle with the consent of the owner. Fined £100 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £310 costs.

Daniel Wright, 27, of Hoptonwood Close, Middleton, Matlock. Damaged a fence. Fined £125 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Damaged a van. Must pay £30 compensation.

Christopher Richard Betts, 32, of High Street, Heanor. Attempted to steal a garden water feature valued at £200. Committed to prison for six weeks suspended for 12 months. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £100 costs.

Russell Knight, 43, of Station Lane, Old Whittington, Chesterfield. Damaged a window valued at £940. Fined £126 and must pay £500 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Theft

Gareth Lee Lovejoy, 35, of Talbot Street, Hasland, Chesterfield. Stole three bottles of alcohol. Failed to surrender to custody three times. Stole meat valued at £40. Committed to prison for 22 weeks.

Stuart Noakes, 60, Portland Avenue, Bolsover. Stole sweets and toiletries valued at £20 belonging to the Original Factory Shop. Community order until April 22, 2015, with a curfew for four weeks, electronic monitoring and supervision. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Brian Carl Spencer, 41, of Mercaston Close, Holmehall, Chesterfield. Stole sandwiches valued at £3 belonging to Boots. Attempted to steal perfume valued at £27 belonging to Boots. Dishonestly undertook or assisted in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of stolen goods namely perfume. Committed to prison for 24 weeks suspended for 18 months. Must pay compensation of £1.50 and an £80 victim surcharge and £50 costs.

Teresa Spencer, 38, of Mercaston Close, Holmehall, Chesterfield. Stole three bottles of perfume valued at £107.50 belonging to Boots. Stole a sandwich valued at £3. Community order to last until July 25, 2016, with a drug rehabilitation requirement, a thinking skills programme and supervision.

Rachael Elizabeth Hunt, 31, of Honeysuckle Road, Hasland, Chesterfield. Stole groceries valued at £178.01 belonging to Morrisons. Commission of a further offence during a suspended sentence. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offences of stealing a food mixer valued at £386, three purses and a handbag. Committed to custody for 14 weeks.

James frederick Nash, 29, of Tapton View Road, Newbold, Chesterfield. Stole two bottles of champagne valued at £37.98 belonging to Tesco. Community order to last until January 26, 2016, with thinking skills programme, supervision and to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Adam Matthew Devine, 27, of No fixed address. Stole steaks valued at £10 belonging to the Co-operative. Stole perfume valued at £20 belonging to Wilkinson’s store. Committed to prison for 12 weeks. Must pay £10 compensation.

Craig Dickson, 28, of Birchwood Crescent, Chesterfield. Stole lager and coffee valued at £19.50 belonging to One Stop. Community order until January 26, 2016, with a curfew for 12 weeks, a drug rehabilitation requirement and electronic monitoring, and a thinking skills programme and supervision. Must pay £9.50 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge.

Beverly Ann Green, 41, of Bridge Street, Killamarsh. Stole ice cream. Fined £100 and must pay £10 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Assault

Noel Frost, 40, of no fixed address. Assault. Committed to prison for 14 weeks suspended for 12 months with supervision and 80 hours of unpaid work. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Sean Andrew Millard, 27, of Market Place, Shirebrook. Assault. Committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 18 months with employment, training and education programme and supervision. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
